I worked as a workout physiologist and director of a couple of cardiac rehabilitation programs, before getting my Chiropractic degree. One thing I learned rather fast during that time is that what I thought was common sense about health and heart health in particular, actually was not so common.
Have you ever really needed a chiropractor? You wake up in the morning and you can hardly go. You slept in a poor standing as well as your neck hurts. It"s out of alignment and you want help. Your day is wasted as you phone to find out whether you may even get an appointment. All you are able to do is wait till you can eventually go in for an adjustment. In pain you make your path to the chiropractors office. Following your five minutes with the doctor you are eventually practical. But within hours, the compelling involved in most chiropractic adjustments can make you in more pain than you were in before! But, what else could you have done?
Have you heard about SmokEnders? This program has existed for a long time , and it has helped lots of folks to quit. I discovered this program at a time when I needed to cease smoking. As I remember, the software consisted of one group each week for 7 or 8 weeks. JJ: I yearn to play with Adam in Neil LaBute"s The Shape of Things. The range of emotions displayed by this poor guy is immeasurable. I also expect to play with any male character in Death of a Salesman (my favourite play), Ken in Red, Boolie in Driving Miss Daisy, and Amos in Chicago. Honestly, I really could go on forever. There are many functions that are great out there!
As you produce a service or an item, think about what other products or services may be offered to complement and augment it. What else do your clients or customers want? What other services can you give your clients to create additional streams of income for your company? For instance, a chiropractic office may offer therapeutic massages, yoga classes or nutritional supplements. Merchandises and these services are not Chiropractic services but they are something and related to health that chiropractic patients might be interested in.
Then your current and past Patients already know, enjoy and trust you, in case you have served It well. At this stage the new patient are much more easy to sell as against a complete stranger who understands nothing about you or your brand of chiropractic. It"s been said that it requires 10-12 times as much cash to bring a fresh patient to your office than it does to sell to your present and past Patients. I think that is accurate.
Let"s say you have a sore throat you can not quite shake. You because the office of the doctor and to your physician understands a cash rate has been negotiated by you, you register for your visit and walk up to the desk. Because you or paying cash and may avoid all the paperwork, you"re taken back to the physician "s office fairly fast, usually in five minutes or less - usually well ahead of those who showed their insurance card. (I will bet you did not realize that one of the reasons it takes so long to see your physician is that there is a time consuming process of getting your health insurance policy affirmed and all the required paperwork in order, before you can be seen by the doctor).
Therefore, if you"d like to know more - educate more. If you want to be respected as an authority in your field and have would-be customers pursuing you rather than the other way around - educate more. And if you would like to make greater profits - subsequently educate more.
