When I think about it I actually wish one of my parents or both of my parents worked from home, I think it"d have been a lot finer! Sadly for me that was nearly hopeless considering my father was a big shot my mom and Chiropractor was his assistant. I wound up spending most of my time when I was little in daycare, with my grandma, or in the back office of my dads company coloring. Personally I would have spent every day with my mother and father in that back office. I loved being with my grandmother, and my parents were amazing, but I only wish I could have spent more time with them!
As you create a service or a product, consider what other products or services could be offered to complement and augment it. What else do your clients or customers need? What other services can you give his clients to create additional streams of income for your business? For example, a chiropractic office may offer therapeutic massages, yoga courses or nutritional supplements. Products and these services are not Chiropractic services but they"re something and related to health that chiropractic patients might be interested in.
Abbreviations - If you"re audited, don"t count on a chiropractor reviewing your records who will know what "PR-L" or "ASRA" or even "Sublux" means. For that matter, even a non-chiropractor may have issue with non-specific abbreviations like "PT." Did you send the patient for Physical Therapy or part-time work? The auditor is not going to try to translate your abbreviations, especially if there isn"t a key present that describes their patient. A great SOAP note with one unidentifiable abbreviation can make you fail your audit. Therefore, be sure you"re spelling it out definitely (another advantage to EMR, push the button and the word comes out!) or that you supply a key that certainly interprets all your abbreviations.
In case you have served your current and previous Patients well they know, like and trust you. At this phase they"re much simpler to sell as opposed to a complete stranger who knows nothing about you or your brand of chiropractic. It is been said that it requires 10-12 times as much cash to attract a fresh patient to your office than it does to sell to your present and past Patients. I think that is true.
The bed you sleep on has an enormous effect on the caliber of sleep. You can impact in a variety of ways. In your everyday life it can lead to lacking energy and feeling tired, drowsy. The mental and emotional effects are even more difficult to deal with while that may be a great physical challenge to get through the days. A lack of inspirational problems, mood swings and focus may be all the more intense.
I can not help to think that everything I have today: my practice, my house, my great buddies, my excellent patients and especially my lovely wife and kids, is due to that phone call I received from my pal about the cheap airfare to Minnesota.
When my family and I were returning from Costa Rica on a holiday awhile back, we had 30 minutes to make our connecting flight and were required to walk from the international terminal to the national terminal approximately 20 minutes away. After surviving security my son, who"s 16 and eats every 30 minutes (late puberty) shouts something about going to the food court, grabs his ticket and says he will meet us at the gate. I try to answer with a message that"ll frighten him into reconsidering his choice like "you better not or you will miss your flight" or "if you do, you"ll be in huge trouble buddy," but he is faster than a bunny in heat.
Should they discard my card, they"ll experience a decrease of say $100.00 worth of chiropractic services. I simply transformed a flimsy piece of card board inside their heads, into a $100 bill.
